Voyna M. Fiction of Can Xue: psychoanalytic interpretation.

The thesis is devoted to psychoanalytic interpretation of modern Chinese avant-garde prose writer Can Xue in a view of classical, analytical and humanistic psychoanalysis, and, among all, in terms of the leading feminist criticism. The basic stages of psychoanalysis in China were described, the extent and quality of its involving to literary work were determined. Sources of formation, development and establishing of the Chinese avant-garde literature were considered, main features and ways of their representation in individual creativity of Can Xue's literary art were revealed. The key techniques of artistic reality, in which the interaction of conscious and unconscious personality structure takes place were analyzed, among them through-space oneirism, madness and neurosis, archetypal, symbolic imagery and more others were detected. The paper determined a number of archetypal images and symbols that enable a new way of reading a number of Can Xue's stories, as the projection of psyhobiography on the one hand, and, as a synthesis of the artistic embodiment of a series of archetypes in Can Xue's symbolic system on the other.
