Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to improving the treatment of school-age children with functional biliary tract disorder and iron deficiency by therapeutic interventions optimizing based on the comorbidity course, lipid and micronutrient metabolism study. It was found that school-age children with functional biliary tract disorder and iron deficiency have burdened course of the biliary tract dysfunction with increased exacerbation frequency as well as severe dyspeptic and asthenic-vegetative symptoms, decreased contractile gallbladder function and hypotonic-hypokinetic dysfunction type. Activation of lipid peroxidation and fatty acid composition changes in red blood cells, blood plasma and saliva was shown in patients. Multiple trace element imbalance was identified in children including the decreased levels of iron, copper, and manganese. The efficiency of complex therapy including a combined iron supplementation, and singlet-oxygen therapy was established in children with functional biliary tract disorder and iron deficiency.
