The thesis is devoted to justification of classification and the characteristic of stages of evolution of performance on wind instruments in Kharkiv by XVIII - the beginnings of the 20th century as system process of his professionalizing and akademization. By system generalization and valuable justification of specifics and consequences of historical process of an akademization of executive wind art in Kharkiv XVIII - the beginnings of the 20th century are classified intrinsic characteristics of performance on wind instruments as sociocultural and art phenomenon of musical and performing culture in Ukraine and Kharkiv.
