Essay

The subject of this research is the chemical and ectrochemical transformations in the volume of the electrolyte and at the interphase boundaries during the co-precipitation of ternary cobalt alloys with refractory metals. The purpose of research is development of galvanochemical technology of functional coatings with ternary cobalt alloys with refractory metals to improve the physico-chemical and operational characteristics of the surface of parts. Research methods are linear voltammetry, X-ray fluorescence, micro-X-ray spectroscopy, X-ray phase, atomic force probe microscopy, polarization resistance, diamond pyramid pressing, electrochemical. The novelty are the composition and instability constants of mono- and biligand complex substances in the Co (II) -WO42- -MoO42- system were first experimentally determined. The use of poly-ligand electrolytes (ammonium citrate and citrate-diphosphate) has been substantiated, of which a Co-Mo-W triple alloy with a range of refractory metals of 20-55 wt. %. The mechanism of cathodic deposition of the ternary Co-Mo-W alloy is substantiated. A modification of the Co-Mo-W alloy by carbon nanosized particles is proposed. It has been shown that the catalytic activity of the Co-Mo-W alloy is greatly increased. The realization degree consists of laboratory-scale tests of synthetic coatings AT "Kharkov Tractor Plant" Kharkiv. The branch of the research application are electrical engineering industry, aviation and mechanical engineering, in research institutions and in the educational process.
