In the thesis on the basis of the analysis of domestic and foreign references, legislations and practice of its application, generalization of empirical data system research of the termination of personal surety as a preventive measure is accomplished. The state of scientific research of the preventive measures problems not related to the temporary isolation of person, concept and content of the personal surety in the system of precautions are defined, the historical development and especially its foreign usage in criminal proceeding are showed.
