The object of the study are the processes of innovative development management of engineering enterprises. The goal is to develop scientific-methodical approaches, methods, models, mechanisms, tools and practical suggestions to improve innovation development management of engineering enterprises. Research methods: monographic and historical survey; dialectic and theoretical generalization; abstract-logical and systemic analysis; financial economic analysis; scientific and technological forecasting and statistics; economic and mathematical modeling; correlation, regression, factor analysis and graphical analysis. The main scientific results are as follows: the following was improved: the mechanism of the innovation process; methodological approach to assess the need and possibilities of innovative development of engineering enterprises on the basis of integral indicators; the concept of "innovative development", which involves the purposeful process of state changes. The following received further development: conceptual-categorical apparatus of the theory of innovation and organization management; systematization of factors of enterprise's innovative development; depending on the designated operation; approach to the application of the principles of functioning of management system functioning of innovative development of the enterprise; systematic approach to the assessment of the level of factors and indicators influence on the necessity and possibility of innovative development of engineering enterprises; systematization of efficiency measures innovation development management of engineering enterprises. The practical significance of the work is determined by the implementation of the results in the activity of engineering enterprises.
