Essay

The role of Human Bocavirus in etiological structure of acute respiratory viral infections and in infectious exacerbation of Bronchial Obstruction Syndrome (Acute Bronchiolitis) and Bronchial Asthma in children is determined. Molecular and epidemiological features of Bocavirus infection are specified and circulation of HBoV1 type on the territory of Ukraine is proved. For the first time the method of isolating and culturing HBoV1 in a instilled culture of epithelial cells of porcine testicles is developed.
