Object - the poetic heritage of Hart Crane, and his epistolary essays, and in particular the poem "The Bridge" as a modernist national literary epic. The purpose - to reveal features mythopoetics creativity Hart Crane, analyze the basic archetypal image, universal and individual symbolic and mythological systems in the context of global and national artistic traditions. Methods - biographical, comparative historical, myth criticism. Based on analysis of creative works (a collection of "white building" cycle "Key West" poem "The Bridge") revealed the nature of the mythological part of his work, which influenced the formation of a national and world cultural tradition and modernism aesthetic pursuit. The aesthetic principles based on the myth of the poet of world art samples, based on which he created his painting mithopoetic America.
