Essay

The aim of study was to increase the effectiveness of prevention and treatment of food allergy in infants by improving methods of diagnosis and differentiation of approaches to therapeutic practice. Was proven the role of family history in the development of allergic diseases in children. Was proven that early introduction of solid foods (4-6 months) with the principles of rotation and early presentation of potentially important allergens for children with high risk of allergic diseases contributes to food tolerance. Was demonstrated that changing of sensitization profile with age (with decreasing of food and increase the role of aeroallergens) is the basis for the implementation of dermato-respiratory syndrome in children. Was determined the usefulness of using eosinophilic cationic protein as a marker of severity of gastrointestinal and skin food allergy manifestations. It was proved that oral immunotherapy with cow's milk proteins significantly contributes to food tolerance of cow's milk. However, due to the high risk of complications during procedures it should be performed in the ICU. For children with symptoms of atopic dermatitis and sensitization to house dust mites sublingual immunotherapy to DerP DerP were recommended as the part the treatment of atopic dermatitis and also as a prevention of the development of dermato-respiratory syndrome.
