Essay

Object: uveal melanoma. Purpose: to increase the efficiency of patient's treatment with uveal melanoma by use of high frequency electric welding of biological tissues at eyeball enucleation to reduce the risk of intra- and postoperative complications, considering clinical and morphological changes in orbital tissues. Methods: histomorphological, clinical, ophthalmological, statistics; slit lamp; microscope. aparat EC300M1. The scientific data was supplemented that the eyeball enucleation directly after exposure the high-frequency electric welding of biological tissues in connected mode (voltage of 40-60V, current of 0.3A, exposure to 3 seconds, and the frequency of 66kHz) generated in the muscle tissue detritus and the felt like structure from denatured protein which are the substrate surface to seal the wound, thus creating the conditions for a subsequent regeneration. The scientific data was supplemented that the eyeball enucleation in cutting mode at a voltage of 200V, a current of 1.5A, exposure to 3 seconds, exiting the power of 350 W and a frequency of 66 kHz in the place of the high-frequency electric welding of biological tissues impact after the optic nerve and extraocular muscle tissue crossing results to the sublimates and dry necrosis formation. The results of research have been implemented in the "SI "The Filatov Institute of Eye Diseases and Tissue Therapy of NAMS of Ukraine". Sphere of use - medicine, ophthalmology.
