Talover V. Investment policy development in Ukraine

The thesis substantiates scientific-practical principles of investment policy development in Ukraine. It determines the essence and the functions of domestic investment policy as a constituent of the state economic policy facilitating development of social-economic processes and gives the state opportunity to influence directly the production volume rates. The author proves that the determinant influence of the investment attractiveness on the development of investment policy on the state, regional and sector levels that in its turn is determined by the investment climate characterized and assessed through the rates of GDP growth, current tax and concession levels, rates of interest, inflation, tariffs and prices, exchange rates, prices for corporate and state securities as well as the legal support of the investment activity. Studying current state of the investment policy of Ukraine, establishing the level of investment safety allows giving scientific-applied recommendations concerning development of approaches to forming investment policy in Ukraine, namely: developing financial support of the state investment policy on the principles of the complementary approach; realizing partnership principles in functioning of the infrastructural constituents of the investment market.
