Essay

The work is devoted to studying the relationship between the chemical composition, crystal structure and physical properties of compounds - the members of mercury homologous series. In the work, the improved technological processes of fabrication of high quality samples of mercury homologous series have been proposed. A systematic study of the electronic structure of the first four members of the mercury homologous series, including the spatial distribution of the electron density has been performed for the first time. It has been studied for the first time the influence of electronic correlations on the electronic structure of Hg-HTSC.
