Essay

In this work were studied, dependencies of nanofilm fundamental and excitonic absorption spectra on its thickness, temperature, well and barrier materials. Respective calculations were based on GaAs nanofilm in the AlxGa1-xAs matrix and HgS nanofilm in CdS matrix. AlxGa1-xAs/GaAs/AlxGa1-xAs nanofilms thickness intervals that are sufficiently influenced by the compound of barrier medium were found. Additionally effectiveness of various longitudinal optical phonons spectrum branches was analyzed.
