Bogdanova O. Improvement of scientific and methodical approaches to planning of occupational risk reduction measures

The dissertation performed a consistent occupational risk management model based on the component method of evaluating the risk of traumatic events and mathematical models of decision-making with taking into account all available risk-relevant information at the enterprise and stimulation of prevention activities. The dependence of occupational risk on the validity of safety measures was identified and the impact of the subjective component of expert judgment has been reduced. The proposed mechanism for identifying hazards through risk-relevant information increases the effectiveness and validity of the decision-making for occupational risks management. It improves the planning of preventive measures based on risk assessment and Hurwitz criterion. The use of consistent risk management model in health and safety management system of the food industry allowed the six fold reduction in the number of lost time accidents.
