Essay

The evolution of ideas of pluralism in American pragmatism is analysed in this dissertation; the basic stages and tendencies of this evolution on an example of philosophical creativity research of Ch. Peirce, W. James, W. Quine and R. Rorty are revealed. Preconditions of pragmatism and pluralism are revealed іn Ch. Peirce's philosophy. Considering W. James's Philosophy, the development of pragmatism and transformation of pluralism ideas in his concept of "radical empiricism".
