The object of study is process of corrosion and corrosion-mechanical destruction of carbon steel in neutral and acidic environments under inhibition based on extracts of wood industry waste. The purpose of research is development a method of synthesis, the establishment of laws and the mechanism of the protective action of environmental inhibitors based on the processing of waste wood industry for corrosion protection of carbon steel heat exchange equipment in neutral and acidic environments. Research methods are gravimetric method for determining the rate of corrosion and scaling, electrochemical methods of studying the kinetics of corrosion process, adsorption (measuring the contact angle, impedance), mechanical (fatigue fracture, fatigue crack growth kinetics), metallographic and fractographic study. Defined tannin content (60%) in oak, pine, birch and tea extracts, as the main active component, and shows that the inhibitory properties of the extracts due to their chemisorptions on the surface of steel. It has been shown that extracts of oak and developed on their basis synergetic composition at the optimal concentration of 0.8 g / dm3 and a temperature range of 20-70 °C 4 ... 9 times slow down the corrosion rate of carbon steel in neutral and acidic environments. It was found that developed inhibitors almost in 2 times slow down the rate of bicarbonate-carbonate conversion, and as a part of the acid wash solutions helps to eliminate hardness salts from the steel surface. It is found that the plastic deformation increases inhibitors chemisorptions on the surface of carbon steel, and formed ferro-tannate films not only improves the corrosion resistance of the steel, but also corrosion-fatigue strength, particularly at the stage of crack growth. Results of the research on the use of plants LtD"Terra Food" and LtD "Inter-Food" as a part of the washing solution for the acid-inhibitory treatment of thermal power equipment from scaling and corrosion products.
