On the material of prose writings and theoretical works of I. Franko, I.Nechuy- Levitsky, P.Kulish, M.Starytsky, Lesya Ukrainka, T.Je?, E.Orzeszkowa, M.Konopnicka, J.I.Kraszewski, H.Sienkiewicz, B.Prus etc. ethno-cultural, social, historiosophical, psychological and feminine model of Polish positivism in Ukrainian literature of the nineteenth century, ethical and aesthetic conception of human and the world, typological coincidences and representation types of artistic content have been investigated. To analyze artistic phenomena and scientific-theoretical work used methods such as comparative, cultural, historical, philological, biographical and hermeneutic.
