Dissertation research refers to increasing the quality and energy consumption decreasing while tilling in tree trunk strips of fruit plantations by means of creating of optimal aggregative and structural soil composition by the slicer with vertical axis of operation parts rotation at the expense of their optimal geometrical parameters and machine operating conditions substantiation. The soil quality at the tree trunk trips of fruit plantations according to the aggregative and structural soil composition index may change dramatically under the influence of water from irrigating system as well as mechanized tilling. It has been proven that for making optimal structural and aggregative soil composition (coefficient 0,6-0,8) it is necessary to introduce the cutter operating parts in the form of slices rotating around the vertical axis and having curvilinear surface; it has been shown that for structural and aggregative soil composition keeping when applying ten vegetation watering the mechanized soil tilling by milling machine with specially worked out operating parts is needed to be conducted after the third and fourth watering, while for soil with initial value of its structural factor of 0,6 - after the seventh watering only.
