Reflection of well-known polemicists Christopher Filalet and Hypatii Potii on the religious struggle in Ukraine at the end of the XVI ct. written in their polemical tractates "Apokrysys" and "Antyryzys" had researched in the dissertation. Discovered information that all the most relevant religious problems of that time, some of which were created and some actualized by Union of Brest are raised in the tractates. However have observed paradox context which consisting around dogmatic and ceremonial debate - despite logical assumptions about demand to discuss the dogmatic innovations in the Uniate Church, polemicist do not pay much attention to it, as, for example, problems of council legality, touching only the problems of most important canons and dogmas. Detected that despite the active defense by polemicists each of their opinions some of them often had common aspects or basises. Sometimes polemicists in their beliefs even had variance with the official views of those churches which they represented. At the same time representatives of the Uniate and Orthodox Churches had different view of ways to resolve the every raised problems and crisis in general: I. Potii saw it in conjunction with the Rome Church and Christopher Filalet in the development of their potential possibilities: education, publishing, art and assimilation of Western Europe cultural heritage.
