Object: the impact of state regulation of renewable energy in the energy-dependent countries. Purpose: scientific substantiation of theoretical and methodological foundations and development of practical recommendations for the development of the renewable energy and energy efficiency as a factor of sustainable economic growth in the energy-dependent countries (for example, Ukraine). Methods: abstract logic; institutional and evolutionary, systematization and generalization; regression and correlation statistical analysis of long- and short-term dependency, vector autoregression; situational analysis; economic and environmental analysis; statistical, graphical and matrix methods.It is offered: advanced: study relationship between GDP growth and consumption of fossil fuels (kg oil equivalent) for Central and Eastern Europe; mechanisms of action programs to stimulate the market of renewable energy in energy-economic development of countries; practical approaches to implementing the concept of "smart cities"; methodological approaches to improve energy efficiency standard residential buildings.
