Essay

The thesis is devoted to the decision of actual scientific problem of improvement of the control system of power converter in electro-hydraulic systems of the mold in continuous casting machine by the evaluating the additional coordinates by the acceleration signals to provide higher accuracy of mold movement along the direction of central axis. It is based on the using of control algorithms of the inverse problem of dynamics and sliding modes. The structure "power converter-hydraulic drive" is analyzed. The mathematical model of hydraulic drive as power converter load is developed. It takes into account the nonlinear properties of the load like variation of the volume of the hydraulic cylinders and nonlinear negative friction. On the basis of solid mold plate model it is found that variating the time constant of the section "power converter-linear motor" by 20 % the use of sliding modes compared with the concept of inverse problem of dynamics allows increasing the order of accuracy of movement the mold along the direction of central axis.
