Dyachenko I. Electrophilic intramolecular cyclization of 2-N(S)-alkenyl(alkynyl)substituted pyridopyrimidines and pteridines

Regiochemistry of electrophilic intramolecular cyclization of 2-allyl(propаrgyl-,cynnamyl)thiopyrido[3,4-d]-pyrimidin-4(3H)-ones, 2-allyl(propаrgyl-, cynnamyl)aminopyrido[2,3 d]pyrimidin-4(3H)-ones, 2-allyl(cynnamyl)aminopyrido[3,2 d]-pyrimidin-4(3H)-ones and 2-allyl(buten-1-yl-, penten-1-yl-, cynnamyl)thiopteridin-4(3H)-ones under treatment with iodine, polyphosphoric acid (PPA) and arylsulfenylchlorides was investigated in this work. The influence of condensed azine system and such factors as nature of functional group, electrophilic reagent and reactive environment on the azole and azine ring annulation with pyrido[3,4 d]([2,3 d], [3,2 d])pyrimidine and pteridine systems was studied.
