Essay

The research object is the combed wheat heap separation. The research goal is to increase efficiency of combed wheat heap separation through justification of parameters and modes for operation of a separating tool. Main statements of higher mathematics, theoretical mechanics, probability theory, mathematical statistics and procedure of multiple-factor experiment planning have been taken as a research base. Practical importance of obtained results includes justification of reasonable values of technological and design parameters as well as cinematic operational modes for the separating tool. All these favour the increase of its operation efficiency. Feature of novelty includes dependence between probability of grain passing through the heap and the distance between culms. This dependence accounts mutual alignment of culms and ratio of caryopsis size to the distance between culms. That enables to choose the criteria for theoretical justification of operational parameters and modes. Another advantage is the ability to improve the procedure of component-specific analysis for the working tool operation while combed wheat heap separating. In this respect there is a possibility for theoretical justification of reasonable values of design parameters cinematic operational modes for the working tool. At the feature of novelty level, a mathematical model has been built. The model, which is a regression equation, establishes the dependence between technological and design parameters as well as cinematic modes and operation quality level for the separating tool.
