Essay

Object – the processes of relations between small and medium enterprises with the banks. Purpose – is to determine theoretical, methodological and practical recommendations for the improvement of the interactive system of SMEs and banks to overcome the crisis, and implementation of its innovation and investment activity. Methods – monographic, synthesis, observation, calculation and analytical, economical and statistical, induction and deduction, graphical. Results – improved the meaning of relations between SMEs and banks, improved methodological approaches to the factors which influence on the development of SMEs through determine of organizational, institutional and economical components, identified the approaches to the activation of the development of SMEs through the state support in the way of deregulation, deburocratisation and decentralization of regulatory functions, improved the interpretation of the definition ‘motivation of the relations’ between SMEs and banks from the position of production necessity, financial opportunity, economic expediency. The novelty lies in the improving and deepening of the existing approaches and providing practical recommendations in improving of the relations between SMEs and banks in the conditions of crisis. They are implemented in practice of LLC ‘Agroproduct’, LLC ‘Company Rona’, PE ‘VIK-Bud’, branch company ‘Avangard’ PJSC ‘Agroholding Avangard’, Ternopil branch of PJSC JSB ‘Lviv’, PJSC ‘First Ukrainian International Bank’ and the learning process of Ternopil National Economic University. Scope – the activity of small and medium enterprises.
