Essay

A relevant scientific task on developing methods and tools for the information technology for analysis of the land use processes applying a simulation model and a recursive model for studying carbon dioxide emissions was resolved. The research’s results have been implemented at the Lviv Polytechnic National University and the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis, Austria. Updated information technology for land use analysis can be utilized as a tool for studying the impact of state policies on land use emissions and removals in Ukraine.
