Oksak A. Mergers and acquisitions in the national economy.

The research is devoted to scientific substantiation of theoretical and methodological foundations and practical improvement of processes of mergers and acquisitions in the national economy. The concepts of "organizational and economic mechanism of mergers and acquisitions" is clarified, the structure of organizational and economic mechanism of mergers and acquisitions is formed, logical interdependence of its components is defined, the content of each of the stages of organizational mechanism is disclosed. System of incentives of mergers and acquisitions is classified. The existing set of criteria of classification signs basis and resulting resource reasons are supplemented. Resource motives are evaluated and cost matrix is built, which allowed to implement clustering of economic activities in terms of material and labor costs. Result motives are estimated and result matrix is built, which allowed to implement clustering of economic activities in terms of yield and profitability of economic activities. An institutional approach to reach effectiveness of mergers and acquisitions is suggested, according to which the agreement is considered effective when its effectiveness is achieved by all stakeholders (consumers, shareholders, suppliers, banks, state). On the basis of the matrix method methodical approach to evaluati ng the effectiveness of mergers and acquisitions in the fields of economy of Ukraine is suggested. Similarity measure of the effects of mergers and acquisitions in various economic activities to the perfect state of efficiency is reviewed.
