Borovytska A. Legal regulation of maintenance of the state water cadastre of Ukraine.

The thesis is devoted to the complex research of the legal regulation of maintenance of the state water cadastre of Ukraine and conducted on the basis of studying of scientific literature, legislative and other regulatory acts. The author defined the meaning of basic legal categories such as: "state water cadastre", "the maintenance of the state water cadastre", "the principles of maintenance of the state water cadastre", "cadastral information", "cadastral process"; identified the place of the state water cadastre in the system of environmental law; analyzed the historical and legal aspects of forming of information about the water bodies; considered the development of legislation in the mentioned sphere; researched the subject composition of the state governance in the field of maintenance of the state water cadastre; revealed the basic dysfunction in its work and offered possible options of their elimination; justified the position on the feasibility of establishing and functioning of multispecies cadastre of natural resources; argued the proposal about the necessity of improvement practical activities in the sphere of maintenance of the state water cadastre of Ukraine. On the background of the conducted research the theoretical conclusions were made, a number of problems that require the decision were outlined, and the proposals for amending the current legislation were formed, which would enable to improve the legal regulation of maintenance of the state water cadastre of Ukraine.
