In dissertation was studied event of a criminal offense and especially its establishment in criminal proceedings, considered the genesis of this notion and its relationship with other elements of the subject of proof. The structure of the criminal offense in the system of conditions, which are being proved by the current Code of Ukraine, was studied, its components – time, place, method and other circumstances of the criminal offense, especially their determination were inquired.
