Essay

The thesis deals with the problem of improving the treatment of postoperative complications in patients after atypical removal of lower third molars by developing the complex regimen in the early postoperative period, which meant examining the clinical and statistical characteristics of the pathology and was based on experimental research and development of improved clinical treatments. As a result of the pilot study we have found the minimum effective dose of "Dexamethasone" and an optimal scheme of using the local hypothermia to deal with inflammatory complications. The scheme of topical application of dexamethasone and local hypothermia is an effective means to reduce pain, swelling of soft tissue in the post-operative areas and inflammatory contracture of masticatory muscles.
