Object - the process of the estimating duration of software development projects. The goal - increasing the reliability of the estimation of the duration of software development projects by building mathematical models of the duration and the creation of information technology for estimating the duration of software development projects. Methods - probability theory, mathematical statistics, mathematical modeling, regression analysis, object-oriented programming. The non-gaussian probabilistic model of the duration of software development projects was improved. Nonlinear regression models of the duration of software development projects, depending on the effort of the projects were developed. The equations of the ranges of confidence intervals and prediction intervals of the nonlinear regression of the duration of software development projects were developed. Scope - software development.
