Essay

Developed economic mechanism of consumer protection in the banking market in Ukraine and improved conceptual apparatus of this mechanism. Done empirical research and statistical evaluation of the state consumer protection banking and financial literacy Ukraine. Determined ways of improvement of Ukrainian legislation to protect the rights of bank customers, taking into account EU standards. Substantiated possibility of introduction of alternative (pre-trial) mechanisms for the protection of consumers of banking services using the experience of foreign countries.
