In the thesis for the first time in the domestic religious studies, a holistic conceptual approach to the study of religious practices as a religious and sociocultural phenomenon. For this purpose, is analyzed the definition of "Religijys practices" whom were used in domestic sociohumantarian discourse. Author distancing himself from the interpretation of religious practices solely as a practitioner of the church, proves that religious practices are an open system of interaction of religious texts and actions. The main institutionalized forms of religious practice are analyzed and their author's hierarchical system is suggested as: cult - ritual - rite. Against this background, firstly, is shown the essential difference between the ritual in archaic, traditional and modern societies, secondly, the necessity of distinguishing between the concepts "ritual" and "religious ritual". The dogmatic foundations of the religious practices of religions of the revelation tradition are revealed and it is shown that, firstly, the religious practices of Judaism are aimed at realizing the Torah law in earthly life by perfecting one people, secondly, the existing diversity of Christian religious practices is due to a number of contradictory interpretations of the nature of Christ and His atoning sacrifice - the specifical of the Eucharist (the understanding of its contents may differ significantly from representatives of different faiths), aimed at achieving a common goal - the Kingdom of God, Even in mortal life; Thirdly, the specificity of Islamic religious practice - it strives to bring a person and community beyond ethnic and national borders which directed to form a new fair society (Islamic ummah), the entering into will become a pledge of earthly happiness and further salvation. Analyzing the specifics "religious practices" of religions of the revelation tradition, the author shows that the cardinal differences between the dogmatic foundations and the sociocultural manifestations are accompanied by the unity of the soteriological intentions - the achievement of unity with God, the realization of which is realized in terrestrial life. In the thesis it is shown that the religious practices of religions of the tradition of revelation are aimed at the formation of confessional religiosity, which provides for the recognition of certain external samples, thus contributing to the consolidation of the group. Against this background, it is emphasized that the modern crisis of theism, which is accompanied by a religious renaissance and the atomization of individual spiritual search, contributes to the formation of extra religiosity, a high degree of social indifference which contributes to the disintegration of social groups.
