Essay

The effect of the thermal treatment in hydrogen on the phase-structural state, temperature of the linear expansion coefficient and hydrogen diffusion factor and magnetostriction constant of the industrial ferromagnetic alloy Н36, К50Ф2, Dd2Fe14B and ferrimagnetic compound Dy2Fe17 have been analyzed. Combination of carbon alloying with thermal treatment in hydrogen was stated to contribute to the strength of the alloy properties. Hydrogen treatment was found to increase the magnetostriction constant and results in the rise of the acoustic efficiency of magnetostrictors produced on them.
