The thesis solved actual scientific and applied task of creating information technology processing distorted text images to improve their recognition.The information technology correction and recognition text documents image, consisting of a functional diagram image recognition text documents, identifying key features of each block scheme and developed methods for correcting distorted images of text documents. The method eliminate the distortion of images is text documents with black and white images is performed in three stages, requires no additional hardware to restore the shape of the page, does not depend on the type of distortion and can be applied to images with a combination of several types of distortion.
