Lektovarov K. Verbalized concept SECURITY in the English world image

The research deals with the verbalized concept SECURITY as a fragment of the English world image. The dissertation singles out salient conceptual parcels and evaluative dominants of the verbalized concept, which display national cultural character of the interaction between members of the English language community and the surrounding world on the one hand, and among themselves on the other. The structure of the field under investigation is settled as horizontally constructed (comprising nuclear, medial and peripheral zones) and vertically organized (three layers of nuclear and medial zones, namely nominal, adjectival and verbal layers, and two layers of peripheral zone, namely idiomatic and paremiologic). Conceptual and image-evaluative components of the SECURITY field are singled out. The scope of application - higher school.
