Semerei B. Administrative-legal bases of realization of principle of openness and transparency in the activities of the National police of Ukraine

The thesis contains a comprehensive and systematic analysis of theoretical and practical problems of administrative and legal framework for implementation of the principle of openness and transparency in the activities of the National police. In work the analysis of principles of organization and activities of the police provided by the Law of Ukraine "On the National police" was done; the main (doctrinal) approaches of scientists to definition of the nature and content of the category "principles of law" were shown, "principles of administrative police activities" were determined; the author's definition of the terms "principle of openness", "transparency" was formulated, methods and criteria or other rules of a relevant principle were outlined; the main drawbacks of the principles of law were identified; the main differences between Western legal doctrine regarding the principles of organization and activities of the police from the domestic were clarified.
