Voloshchuk D. Integrated rehabilitation for patients with vascular dementia with members of their families

The thesis is devoted to the study of diagnosis and treatment of medical and social rehabilitation for patients with vascular dementia and their relatives.179 patients with vascular dementia were observed. The study included 163 patients with vascular dementia and 163 of their relatives. The study was conducted in four stages: psychological diagnostics, rennovative therapy, readaptation, the analysis of the effectiveness of the therapeutic complex stage and outpatient medical and social support. On the first stage were found individual psychological characteristics of patients with vascular dementia and their family members which have become targets for intervention and complex rehabilitation. Pharmacological assistance carried out in accordance with standardized clinical protocol of primary, secondary (specialized), tertiary (highly specialized) and palliative care "Dementia", approved by order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine: number 736 from 19.07.2016. An important element of a comprehensive program of complex rehabilitation for patients with vascular dementia has been to develop methods of social skills training for people with vascular dementia, contributed to the training of socio-psychological adaptation or rehabilitation of these people. The evaluation of the efficiency of the provided rehabilitative complex allowed to talk about its effectiveness.
