Kolomiiets O. Semantic and syntactic reconstruction of newspaper synoptic texts (based on the English, German, Polish and Ukrainian languages)

Thesis offers a new approach to the semantic and syntactic reconstruction of newspaper synoptic texts in English, German, Polish and Ukrainian. The compositional: thematic, architectonic, logical and outer semantic: iconic and graphic elements have been reconstructed; the connection between the original onomastic elements (toponyms and oikonyms) of newspaper synoptic texts with their modern semantics in each language has been renewed; common and different figurative and stylistic elements of newspaper synoptic texts in English, German, Polish and Ukrainian have been revealed; sentence beginnings, syntactic figures based on the reduction, expansion of the original sentence patterns and the change of the word order in the sentence have been decoded; the correlation between the syntactic elements and pragmatic types of speech act has been defined.
