The dissertation is devoted to theoretical and methodological foundations of scientific substantiation and development of practical recommendations for the formation and applying of the economic potential of the companies with developed pig-breeding. The work summarizes the theoretical research of scientists about the nature of the concept of "economic potential", specified categories and the essence of the concept "the economic potential of the company" with considering the features of economic activity of companies with developed pig-breeding. It is overview and improved the methodology for measurement of the economic potential of the companies with developed pig-breeding. It is analyzed the level of economic potential development and components of the economic potential of Mykolaiv region companies with developed pig-breeding and identified the influence of external and internal factors on it. It is suggested the author vision of the conceptual framework and identification of structural elements of the economic potential of the companies with developed pig-breeding. It is improved the approaches to the formation of applied tools of development of the economic potential of the companies with developed pig-breeding that provide the implementation of the concept in business. Proposals on priority directions of increasing the economic potential of companies with developed pig-breeding are summarized. These directions allow to consider the features of the economic potential and its components, the need to reduce threats and minimize risks, the possibility of deepening the analysis of their impact on the efficiency of activities and the prospects for sustainable development of business entities.
