Essay

It developed and investigated a functional approach to the construction of discrete finite element models of geometric objects of complex shape. The essence of this approach is to build a mathematical model of a geometric object in the form of analytical description - predicate formula that describes the locus of points forming the original object. For the formalization of predicate formulas developed specialized language FORTU-F specifications, which can be used to describe a mathematical model of a geometrical object of arbitrary complexity. Implemented algorithms broadcast model specifications FORTU-F in the internal byte-code, and the subsequent automatic construction of discrete geometric models using simplex finite elements. A corresponding intelligent automation software system QNG building complex finite element models.
