This dissertation focuses on the analysis of the linguostylistic, pragmatic, paralingual parameters of the contemporary English advertising discourse. A strategy of suggestive impact is realized through contact-creating tactic, metaprogramming tactics, tactics of induction hypnosis, causation, perseveration, report, aimed at provoking a trance behaviour in potential customers, providing a friendly atmosphere between advertising communicators, diminishing the negative attitude to the advertisement.The implementation of a strategy of manipulative impact involved a value-oriented tactics, reaccentuation tactics, tactics of disguise, aimed at enhancing the positive values of the recipient, getting pleasure from goods or service.
