The dissertation is devoted to the consideration of theoretical and applied problems of the administrative and legal framework for preventing domestic violence. Granted by the Basic Law, the right to protect inviolability and the right to privacy belongs to the group of fundamental rights and freedoms of a person and a citizen. The author's definition of the term violence in the family is proposed and its types are identified. The author of one of the first analyzed the issues of the formation and development of the research institute and proposed the author's version of periodization; Presents the author's concept of sources of law in the field of preventing domestic violence; Administrative and legal relations in the field of preventing domestic violence, highlighting the signs and composition of relations; Features of subject-object structure of relations in the field of prevention of violence in the family.
