Lakyda M. Biotic productivity of State organization "Residence" Zalissya": current state and dynamics.

Object of research - processes of accumulation of live organic matter in forests of State organization "Residence "Zalissya". Objective - assessment of biological productivity of forests of SO "Residence "Zalissya" by components of live biomass and sequestered carbon therein. Methods of research - general scientific (analysis, synthesis, comparison etc.), biometric, forest mensurational, silvicultural, statistical (grouping, correlation, regression and dispersion analyses). Scientific novelty - determination of local and mean indexes of natural and base density of live biomass components of stem and crown of Scots pine trees in SO "Residence "Zalissya"; elaboration of a complex of mathematical models of qualitative parameters of aboveground live biomass components for Scots pine trees in immature, mature and overmature stands; computation of conversion ratios for live biomass components of Scots pine stands and development of a system of mathematical models for assessment of live biomass components of forest stands of the Residence; quantitative assessment of carbon-sequestrative and oxygen-productive functions of forests of SO "Residence "Zalissya"; determination of carbon emissions sequestration share in the study region, secured by forests of the Residence. Practical significance. The developed complex of information support can be used for solvation of a series of ecological, resource and indusrial problems of the forestry branch both in the research region and in Ukrainian Polissya.
