Essay

Object of research: development of rural areas of the frontier region. Objective: Identification of priority areas of marketing of rural areas to enhance the socio-economic development of the border regions of Ukraine, as well as the development of effective marketing mechanisms for managing the rural areas of the border region in the context of the new challenges of European integration. Methods: monographic, comparison, sociological research, analysis and synthesis, econometric, cluster analysis, graphical visualization, scientific generalizations. Novelty: for the first time, the classification of rural territories was carried out, which resulted in the allocation of six main types of rural areas, systematized the new challenges of European integration by the nature of their impact on the development of marketing of rural areas of the border region in three main areas: economic relations, cross-border communications and human capital, improved classification Rural areas of the border region on the basis of their cluster analysis, directions of institutional and administrative Management-oriented development of marketing of rural areas of the border region, theoretical and methodological principles of development of marketing management of regions on the basis of identifying the characteristic features of marketing of rural territories of the border regions of the EU regions of Ukraine. Scope of application: the Starosambirsky district council of Lviv region in determining priority directions of promotion of economic interests of the combined territorial communities of the area among potential investors, the Lviv Chamber of Commerce and Industry in preparation of its representatives for participation in business forums and investment fairs in Ukraine and neighboring member countries.
