The paper deals with analyses of the semantic paradigm of interjections in Modern Chinese including monosemy, polysemy, homonymy, synonymy and antonymy. The dissertation presents an experimental semantic classification of interjections of Modern Chinese, based on the typology of A. The study also revealed that interjections functioning as discourse markers can confirm, supplement and correct the information.
