Samarskiy I. Surgical prevention of stroke atherosclerotic carotid arteries

The thesis is dedicated to the vital task of improving the results of surgical treatment of patients with stenotic carotid arteries.Implementation of the complex developed, which, when surgical interference due to atherosclerotic stenotic carotid arteries, foresees control of bioelectrical cerebral activity, as well as identification of blood redox potential, monitoring of intracerebral hemodynamics and constant injection of phosphocreatin in an intracarotid way after compression of the carotid arteries on the side of the surgical interference, helped to reduce (as for the group of comparison), the reperfusion syndrome frequency from 33,6 % to 3,4 %; there were no observed incidents of transient ischemic attacks or acute cerebrovascular accidents; positive changes in the form of reduction of frequency of arterial supertension up to 6,9 %, cognitive deficits - up to (29,2 ± 0,3) points - according to MMSE scale and up to (27,1 ± 0,3) points - according to MoCA scale; normalization of intracerebral blood flow remained on the same level after six months.
