Object of research - processes of hazardous substances distribution in the work area and on the territory of chemically hazardous objects in the case of extreme situations at the points of solid propellant storage and utilization. The purpose of the thesis: safety in the work area on objects of solid propellant storage and utilization based on the simulation of extreme situations and take action to reduce them. Research methods: The formulation of research tasks was carried out by system analysis methods based on scientific sources. The solution of the problems using numerical simulation methods was obtained. The reliability of the theoretical results is verified by comparing them with the data of experimental studies, as well as verification by the example of solving known test problems. Theoretical and practical results: information-modeling system was developed to prognoses the consequences of extreme situation, accompanied by the emission of chemically hazardous substances; method to neutralize the combustion products of solid propellant, which allows to increase the level of industrial safety on the territory of an industrial object or during the transportation of solid propellant by reducing the concentration of hazardous substances in working areas was developed; set and solved the task of assessing the effectiveness of the protective shaft application near the storage facility with solid propellant; the possibility of increasing the industrial safety level through the use of additional shield near the storage was shown; the method of protecting the wagon from bullet penetration is proposed. Scientific novelty: complex of numerical models of the "diagnostic models" class was developed for the pollution prognosis in the work area and in the adjacent territory when solid propellant is fired. These models allow for the first time scientifically justified to assess the level of industrial hazard in the extreme situation at the storage and utilization objects of solid propellant and ensure the safety of workers; for the first time the regularities of the processes of dangerous toxic substances dispersion in the work area and on the territory of adjacent objects were established for the emergence of extreme situations associated with the combustion of solid propellant was set; for the first time a scientific justification of the method of hazard reducing in the case of extreme situation, accompanied by the emission of solid propellant combustion products, was obtained. Degree of implementation: the results of the work are implemented in the Main Office of the State Emergency Service in the Dnipropetrovsk region at modeling various scenarios of extreme situations. The developed models and codes are used in the educational process of the DNURTafter academician V. Lazaryan and SHEE "PSACEA" at reading the academic disciplines and degree and master thesis performance. Scope: Chemical plants in the case of extreme situations.
