Beryslavska O. Administrative and legal status of Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine

It has been proved that information and legal policy is the object of administrative-legal regulation. It is carried out by subjects that have state power, which, through the norms of administrative law, ensure its formation and implementation. The administrative and legal status of the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine is the right of decisive peculiarity, which consists of a set of tasks, rights, responsibilities, and other legal elements, reveals the aspects of the activity and the principles of functioning of the Ministry as a legal entity of public law. They are implemented in order to meet the public interest of the state, provide information security in the society and protect information rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of individuals and legal entities. The foreign countries experience was analyzed (France, Germany, Japan, Israel, Belarus) on ministries activity with soft power, in particular as in the context of the development of the global information space, the creation of an information society without borders and restrictions, and in the course of new types of conflicts (Hybrid wars) and systemic socio-political crises.
