Essay

The thesis is devoted to the scientific research of evaluation in public service, its types and characteristics. The level of scientific development of the category “evaluation in public service” is analyzed. There is given the notion of “evaluation in public service” and is analyzed the essence of evaluation in public service. There are defined the correlations between the notions of “evaluation” and “estimate”, “evaluation results of public servants’ activities” and “certification”. Special attention is paid to the legal regulation of evaluation in public service.
