Essay

The distribution of excess overweight in children aged 15-18 living in Odessa is studied. The peculiarities of the course of basic dental diseases, biochemical and biophysical parameters in children with overweight are investigated. The combined polymorphism of the FTO, PON1, I-1B, and LCT genes, and their relationship with the percentage of overweight and the state of the mucous membrane of the oral cavity was studied. The experimental model of the combined pathology of overweight and dysbiosis is developed. For the first time a complex of measures for the prevention of major dental diseases in children with overweight was developed and tested and its high efficiency was proved.
